Oh I am such a sock girl. My disability has been with me since I was a kid though. I actually loved getting socks for Christmas as a child!

Especially the ones that looked like bunnies with floppy ears.

🤣 I am laughing so much... and yet I can relate to this.

There's nothing as annoying as losing socks in the washing. Unless it's my kids snaffling a pair of my newest socks. Another bugbear is the ephemeral nature of the modern sock. One has hardly released them from their packaging and they develop holes...

I know. Shocking. That’s why you have to keep buying them. But they’re so much more interesting these days 😂

"One of them bunches up in your shoe? Might as well go back to bed."

One of the posts telling me why not opening sock... ehm, Substack when I'm working on anything where I have to look seriously focused.

Once I had a serious discussion about socks with an 8-yr-old girl. She wanted to know why socks have to match. Got me. I can never find the other one anyway, so now I just reach in the drawer and grab two.

It shows how eccentric some people can be. It’s a personality thing. 😂

I love the idea that maturity is just the slow, inevitable process of finding your tribe — and that tribe is ultimately made of specific textile blends.

It’s a comfortable way of looking at aging I think 😀

I love the socks introducing this post! Bunny socks at all times of the year. My favorite socks have been bamboo and alpaca socks. They are so soft and adjust to any weather. I have not always been a sock person. Fuzzy socks changed all that! 50 pairs of fuzzy socks and please bury me in mine!🧦

That’s a great thought. Alpaca socks I have to check those out 😀

Toe socks are for gods! Or me, when I’m out walking in the hilly countryside around here. A thick pair inside a pair of walking boots is the best thing ever… – seriously! Plus I heard there were health benefits. And, anyway, once you’ve worn a pair, you won’t go back. Honestly. And they have their own drawer. Of course… it’s the top one!
