I used to know a professional meteorologist in Perth, Western Australia. We'd go on trips together and the first thing he'd do in any new place was ask the guy who owned the petrol station what the weather was going to do.

There.

Just a thing.

๐Ÿคฃ I feel seen! Iโ€™ve also started coming up with random facts about songs on the radio โ€” which I couldnโ€™t care less about but I now feel so much power ๐Ÿ˜‚

P.S Your writing is super entertaining, thanks for the laughs.

You know what , I check the weather every morning as if it is the most important thing in the world.

I hate the heat and proclaim loudly , "This is the hottest day of the year"..

If it rains , I announce that this is heaviest downpour of the year.

I am obsessed with weather and it always proves me wrong.

So much for being an expert in weather.

Nice write-up Brad.

Your comic timing is top class.

Thank you. Youโ€™re very kind. Being English means weโ€™re obsessed with the weather as well ๐Ÿ˜‚

Predictability is definitely underrated. My husband is the sports tracker (and has really decent success), our roommate watches the same shows on TV over and over again (dementia, autism? I really think it's about familiarity). Me? Weather girl. I too have 3 apps for accuracy- and never thought I would do that after growing up on a small farm and praying daily for the needed weather. Yet here I am...๐Ÿค”
